About the Journal
The Journal of the Physical Society of Indonesia (JPSI) is an esteemed international journal published by the Physical Society of Indonesia (PSI), formerly known as Himpunan Fisika Indonesia (HFI). Serving as a platform for the dissemination of cutting-edge physics research, JPSI covers a wide array of topics, including experimental, theoretical, and applied physics in diverse fields such as Astrophysics, Nuclear Physics, Atomic and Molecular Physics, Biophysics, Condensed Matter Physics, Energy, Geophysics, Materials Science, Mathematical Physics, Optics, Particle Physics, Quantum Physics, and Physics Education.
JPSI is a continuation of the Physics Journal of the Indonesian Physical Society (ISSN 1410-8860), which was previously published by HFI from 1996 to 2001. In line with the evolution of HFI into the Physical Society of Indonesia (PSI), the journal underwent a series of transformations. It was re-established as an online publication under the name Journal of the Indonesian Physical Society (JIPS) during the HFI meeting in Denpasar on October 16, 2014. Following PSI's rebranding, the journal adopted its current title, Journal of the Physical Society of Indonesia (JPSI), with its inaugural issue (Volume 1, Number 2) published in October 2019.
Published biannually in April and October through an Open Journal System (OJS), JPSI employs a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure the highest standards of scholarly excellence. The journal encourages electronic submissions via its official website (http://journal.fisika.or.id/jpsi), adhering to the provided article template. Manuscripts should range between four and ten pages, and authors benefit from a no-cost submission and publication policy.
JPSI invites the global physics community to contribute to its mission of advancing the frontiers of knowledge. For inquiries about manuscript preparation and submission, please contact jpsi@fisika.or.id.
